Panel Stands for Collision Repair and Automotive Painting
Panel stands are used throughout the collision repair process to hold doors, wings, hoods, tailgates and other body panels securely during preparation, painting and curing. By mounting the panel off the vehicle, technicians gain full access to edges, returns and difficult areas that are hard to reach when the panel remains on the car.
A stable stand allows the panel to be positioned at the correct height and angle for sanding, spraying and inspection. This improves working posture for the technician while also helping maintain consistent paint application across the entire surface.
Choosing the Right Panel Stand
Different workshops prefer different types of panel stands depending on their workflow, available space and technician preferences. The Flexible range includes both advanced multi-adjustable stands and more traditional fixed-base designs.
EasyFlex PRO – an advanced all-in-one panel stand designed to handle preparation, painting and curing with full adjustability.
SingleFlex CLASSIC – a traditional panel stand design with a fixed base and manual turning mechanism familiar to many technicians.
Single Panel Stand – a simple vertical stand used primarily for spraying and curing panels that do not require multiple working angles.
2PO Flex Hood Stand – a specialised stand designed specifically for automotive hoods and bonnets to improve access during painting.
Improving Workflow in the Body Shop
Using the correct stand allows panels to remain securely mounted throughout multiple stages of the repair process. This reduces repeated handling, lowers the risk of damage and helps maintain a smoother workflow between preparation areas, spray booths and curing cycles.
All Flexible stands are Danish-engineered and manufactured from nickel-plated steel to resist corrosion and reduce paint build-up, ensuring reliable performance in demanding body shop environments.
